Two partnering families founded Irland Peles Ltd Company, marketer of the ipel brand, in 1958. The plant is located in the New Industrial Zure 9 in Karmiel, Israel, and focuses mainly on manufacturing high quality finishing materials for construction and renovations such as: gypsum plaster, tile adhesives/cement, acrylic coloured joint filler for mosaic ceramic and tiles colored plaster, epoxy and industry leading sealants.
The company markets its products throughout the country and exports several leading products lead to overseas. The company works in tight cooperation with the Israeli Standards Institute, with marks of Standard Features accompany its leading products.
The company is investing heavily in gathering information from trade specialists and development of new products for the construction industry. The company maintains a state-of-the-art laboratory and chemists with extensive experience in this field.
